Need to get ASIO out from your DAW into skype or OBS? This will do it! And then some! Plus some handy FX and other tricks. From the guys who made Virtual Audio Cable. AFAIK it cannot grab ASIO from ReaRoute, so won t necessarily fix your #1 problemĢ.

However it does, for me, solve the issue of OBS not having an audio output. First one that probably comes to mind is Virtual Audio Cable, which I think first made an appearance last century! Good stuff, but won’t fix everything. I don't know, do you have any ideas on this?īelow is a list I've been working on of the stuff I've tried so far.ġ. I think ideally, some way to get from rearoute to one of these formats or maybe even the ability in reaper to send out in wdm or something at the same time as ASIO? OBS and many other of the types of software people use for this, do have a working audio input and audio output capture, but those are wdm, wasapi, whatever. This is why I'm still running out one interface and into another. Unfortunately it will often stop working halfway through a stream requiring a reboot of the computer. OBS can now take asio input, so if I make a second hardware out on REAPER's master and set that to ReaRoute output, it should work in theory. Its 20 years of windows later, and we are still having this crazy issue when streaming or podcasting of trying to get our audio out of our DAWs and into the streaming software, and/or bringing Skype or other things into our DAWsĬurrently, I am sending REAPER out of one interface, back into another interface, using that second interface as the input for Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) and then using OBS virtual webcam and VB Virtual Audio Cable as the output to go to youtube or google hangouts or skype or whatever. Still dealing with this same old stupid problem.I have several non-optimal solutions, but interested in what you guys are seeing on Windows
